How Younger began: a story of family, friendship, and fitness
Our founding story: inspired by a mother’s journey
When our co-founder Stefan’s mother turned 59, she received a life-changing diagnosis of cancer. Beyond the illness itself, she struggled with fatigue, aches, and the painful feeling that her body was no longer her ally. Stefan stood by, wanting more than anything to help her feel like herself again - strong, vibrant, alive.
He knew from his own experience that movement could be more than exercise. It had always been his way to restore balance, sharpen his mind, and lift his spirits. And he thought: “What if this could be her lifeline too?”
That moment of realization sparked a bigger vision. What if there was a way to guide not just his mom, but people like you - in your late 40s, 50s, 60s and beyond - through safe, approachable movement that restores strength and confidence? Not chasing six-packs or marathons unless you want them, but simply feeling younger inside and out, ready to greet each day with energy and joy.
Stefan shared this dream with his lifelong friend Kristian. Together they brought it to life: Stefan’s passion for fitness and people, combined with Kristian’s love for technology and innovation. From that friendship and vision, Younger was born.
Our mission: embracing aging with strength and joy
Our mission is simple: to transform how you experience aging. Instead of impossible standards or fear of decline, we offer realistic, uplifting routines that fit into your everyday life.
We’re not here to make you 20 years younger. We’re here to help you feel healthier, happier, and more confident right now - at the age you are. Because it’s never too late to move, to build resilience, to discover strength you didn’t know you still had.
Even something small - a 15-minute stretch, a short walk, a mindful moment, can shift your energy and your outlook. Younger is here to help you weave those moments into your life so they become a source of joy, not obligation.
Who we serve: real people, real lives
At Younger, we see you. Your life, your schedule, your challenges - and your hopes. And maybe you’ll recognize yourself in these stories:
Perhaps you’re a grandparent who wants to keep up with your grandkids’ endless energy - gardening in the morning, hiking on weekends, and still having the strength to scoop them into your arms.
Or maybe you’re a busy professional, spending long days at a desk or on the road. You juggle work and family, yet you crave short, effective ways to feel lighter, stronger, and more focused.
You might be a woman navigating the changes of menopause - seeking relief, balance, and a return of confidence through mindful walks, gentle yoga, or simply knowing you’re not alone.
Or you might be a man who has noticed a dip in energy and drive. You’re not chasing gym perfection; you just want to wake up sharper, feel strong for your family, and rediscover the spark that makes you feel like yourself again.
Maybe you’re recovering from an injury, taking careful steps to rebuild. You’ve learned patience, and you long for safe movement that gives you back the freedom to enjoy the things you love.
Or maybe this is your very first step into fitness. You’ve always felt a bit intimidated, but you’re ready to begin - with simple stretches, short walks, and the support of a community that celebrates progress, not perfection.
Wherever you are on this journey, you belong here. Younger meets you where you are and walks with you forward.
A community that feels like home
When you join Younger, you’re not just signing up for workouts. You’re stepping into a family. Here, people swap tips on easing joint pain, share recipes, and celebrate each other’s milestones - from a first 10-minute workout to a new sense of energy.
On the days when motivation is hard to find, you’ll discover it in the encouragement of others. And on the days you shine, you’ll be the one who inspires someone else. That’s the power of community. You are never doing this alone.
A movement we build together
Younger began with one son’s wish to help his mother. Today, it’s a movement built on family, friendship, and the belief that aging should mean growing stronger, not weaker.
And now, it’s your turn. This is your time. Take the first step toward your own transformation. Whether you start with a short stretch, a mindful walk, or by joining our community, you are welcome here.
Because growing older is not decline. It is opportunity. And it’s never too late for you to feel younger.
